One of the many things in the anime and content creation community that has been taking storm is Vtubers. Offkai, is a VTuber convention that highlights a mixture of both Corporate Vtubers and Independent VTubers. I had the pleasure of meeting Filian, an Indie Vtuber that I tend to watch from time to time. Also there were many Vtubers that you can meet from Nijisanji, Vshojo, and larger indie Vtubers. Also had the opportunity of meeting various VTubers who are okay with being physically present like Numi and Sinder. On top of that, the party scene of this convention is a definite highlight. Only downside is that the Wifi/Internet is HORRIBLE here, causing lots of scuffed situations when it came to the live shows. Also its very secluded so not many places outside the hotel to go and eat unless you want to drive. Despite the scuffs and situations, this was definitely a highlight convention that I had a lot of fun in. Its extremely small and I can only see it expanding and getting larger in the future! Hopefully can attend again next year!
